<p><strong>The 2011 Board of Directors</strong> met Wednesday, November 2 at the House of Blues in West Hollywood.   The meeting was followed by the monthly luncheon and mixer in the exotic Foundation Room. Guest speaker Jason Chiang from the West Hollywood CVB shared news of the ever-changing hotel/restaurant/nightlife scene, and gave a fascinating presentation on WeHo’s successful and innovative use of social media.</p>

<p><strong>Annual Gala AKM Awards</strong></p>
<p>The annual Anastasia K. Mann awards presentation and luncheon was held Wednesday, October 6 at the Lobster on Santa Monica Pier, Pacific Park.   Honorees included Thomas See from Universal Studios and Pacific Park and the Santa Monica Pier. Retired Executive Director Joanie McClellan was also honored, and made a special trip from Oregon for the event. Over 130 members and guests packed the restaurant on a beautiful, sunny Santa Monica day. The silent auction raised over $3,000 &#8211; THANK YOU DONORS AND SUPPORTERS!</p>

<p>2011 is almost over, it’s time to renew or join for 2012.</p>
